How to book

Why come to us?

Our sessions complement your teaching of the National Curriculum, GCSE, A/S and A2 syllabuses for History, English and Science.

We encourage learning from different sources including objects, archives and images and will help your students to analyse and assess them critically. Choose the teaching and learning style that best suits your class:

Broader Learning

Galleries

The Museum has six galleries covering the history of the British soldier and the British Army from the Middle Ages to the modern day. We recommend you allow your students time to explore some of these galleries in order to extend and enrich their learning.

Action Zones

Enhance the experience of young visitors by exploring our Action Zones. Located in the Changing the World and World Wars galleries, these interactive hotspots feature multi-sensory games and activities that are fun for all ages!.

Online

You can download gallery trails highlighting key objects and learning points. The website also boasts a wide range of online exhibitions highlighting parts of our exciting collections and revealing hidden stories.
