The diary of the first man killed in the Charge of the Light Brigade

'There Are Your Enemy. There Are Your Guns!' With these words Captain Louis Edward Nolan delivered the fateful order that launched the Charge of the Light Brigade.

To celebrate the first ever publication of Captain Nolan’s personal diary, Expedition to Crimea, the National Army Museum will launch the publication with a free lecture by one of the editors of the diary, Dr Alastair Massie.

Each speaker will make his case and at the end of the day...you decide.
